Ok so I found a quick and easy project for those days when you just want to see a finished project in one setting! I bought a book on Amazon on Fabric Bowls and they are beautiful! It took about 2 hrs. from start to finish and they look great! These two are for my sister Sonie as a house warming gift for her new home! I see Xmas gifts here!! Enjoy!

Machine Quilting Practice
Ok so today I seriously started practicing my machine quilting!! Oh this is not good! I need a lot of practice and I am the type of person who gets frustrated when I don't get it right away! Character flaw what can I say! So LOTS more practice is in store for me! Gosh I hate when I have that feeling that I will never get it! Will keep you posted on my progress. I have to get this down as I have no access to a longarm quilter and I am fearful of sending out my quilts and can't really afford to have them done.

Just Some of my Projects

These are just a few of my projects. The rag quilt was my first quilt that I made for my grand-daughter. I love applique! The one lap quilt I made for my sister was pretty challenging and my first attempt at machine quilting. Unfortunately she wasn't critical of my first attempt and fell in love with her lap quilt!
New to the Blog Community
I am new to this blogging thing, but here goes! I am a passionate quilter, all be it a novice. No pro here, but I can't think of anything I have been more passionate about in years. I learned some from my mother-in-law and really got involved when I lost my job about 4 years ago. My sister-in-law and I are, what do I want to call it....obsessed!!
We share everything and have managed to bring several others in along the way. My dream is to have my own Quilt Shop someday. If you ask my husband, he will tell you that I already have one in my sewing room! Now my stash is no where close to that size, but I'm getting there! Give me time!! HEHE
I am including some of my first quilts and projects. I am currently into the pin cushions that use up alot of my scraps! And they make great gifts too!
Enjoy!
